Βασικό μέλημα ήταν να διατηρηθεί το πολύτιμο πευκοδάσος και όλο το project να αναπτυχθεί χωρίς να καταστραφεί κανένα δέντρο.
Το σπίτι μοιάζει με ένα μυθικό φίδι που γλιστράει αποφεύγοντας εμπόδια, χωρίς να αφήνει ίχνος και σχεδόν χωρίς να αγγίζει το έδαφος. Μια βίλα με τζαμαρίες στο ισόγειο και με δημιουργεί , ως εκ τούτου, ο πρώτος όροφος η εποικοδομητική κολλημένα εξωτερική δομή δίνει την εντύπωση ότι αιωρείται πάνω από το έδαφος προς τις κορυφές των πεύκων. Η κατασκευή και η αρχιτεκτονική γραφική παράσταση εμπνεύστηκαν από τις υποστηρικτικές παράκτιες δομές των θινών και την υφή του δέρματος του φιδιού. Το σπίτι στο δάσος, δάσος παντού ήταν το κλειδί όχι μόνο για μια ογκομετρική έκφραση, αλλά και για τη λειτουργία. Το φως που διαπερνά το πευκοδάσος σχηματίζει «χωρικά τσιμπήματα» του φωτός. Το καθένα από αυτά είναι εκμεταλλεύσιμο: όπου είναι μεγαλύτερο για το καθιστικό, το δωμάτιο αναψυχής, όπου είναι πιο λίγο για τα υπνοδωμάτια, όπου δεν υπάρχει για βοηθητικούς χώρους. Σημαντική είναι η δυνατότητα να παρατηρήσετε τα πάντα από την κορυφή από τη βεράντα της ταράτσας οι κορυφές των πεύκων είναι σε επαφή με το χέρι και υπάρχει η αίσθηση ότι ζεις ανάμεσα στα δέντρα.
Η Εσωτερική λύση:
Το εσωτερικό γίνεται αισθητικά αναπόσπαστο μέρος της όλης αρχιτεκτονικής ιδέας.
Για τους εσωτερικούς χώρους χρησιμοποιούνται μόνο φυσικά υλικά. Το ξύλο χρησιμοποιείται για τις βιτρίνες και τον εξωτερικό όροφο του δεύτερου ορόφου, τους ορόφους του δεύτερου ορόφου, την κουζίνα, τις πόρτες, τις σκάλες, πέτρα χρησιμοποιείται για το φινίρισμα στο ισόγειο, μαύρος χάλυβας για τζάκι και πολυελαίους. Συνδυάζονται οι γήινες αποχρώσεις. Οι ορατοί γύρω χρωματικοί τόνοι διαπερνούν απαλά τους εσωτερικούς χώρους. Η αίσθηση πληρότητας ενισχύεται από τον ειδικά σχεδιασμένο πρόσθετο φωτισμό. Έμφαση δίνεται στη παιχνιδιάρικη διασύνδεση του φυσικού φωτισμού και του περιβάλλοντος. Η αρχιτεκτονική φιλοδοξία ήταν με λιτά και καθαρά μέσα να δημιουργηθεί ισχυρό συναισθηματική φόρτιση. Είναι σαν μια προσπάθεια να αναπαραχθεί ο ενθουσιασμός και τα φωτεινά συναισθήματα που μας διακατέχουν κάθε φορά που φθάνουμε στην παραλία ...

Τhe task for ourselves:
There are so few natural and real things left in our environment. Palanga is no more an exception. The main task was to preserve what is valuable - to preserve the state of an existing pine forest.
The goal:
Life is created between the trees, not by replacing them.
The image of an idea:
The house resembles a mythical serpent, that slithers avoiding obstacles, without leaving a trace and almost without touching the ground (the serpent, the deity for home, fire, ancestors, welfare, health and fertility. It was considered as a good spirit of the house, a guardian, even believed for abilities to heal).
Solution:
The Villa is fully glassed at the ground floor, therefore the first floor - the constructive glued outer structure feels like floating above the ground in the crowns of the pine trees. The construction and architectural graphics were inspired by the supportive coastal dune structures and the skin texture of the serpent. The house in the forest, forest everywhere - was the key formant not only for a volumetric expression, but also the function. The light penetrating through the pine forest forms «spatial bites” of the light. Each of them were about to be exploited: where the greatest - for the sitting room, the recreation room, where lower - for the bedrooms, where there are none - for auxiliary rooms. Valuable is the ability to observe everything from the top - from the roof terrace the tops of pine trees are in a hand touch and it feels like living among the trees.
Interior solution:
The interior in all senses become inseparable part of the whole architectural idea. Only natural materials are used for the interior spaces. Wood is used for the showcases and second floor exterior structure, the second floor floors, kitchen, doors, stairs, stone is used for the ground floor finishing, black steel - for a fireplace and chandeliers. Combined are the earth tones. Visible surrounding color tones gently penetrate to the interior spaces.
The feeling of completeness is reinforced by the specifically designed additional lightning. Emphasis is at the playful interface of the natural lightning and the environment. The architectural aspiration was by the laconic and purified means to create a strong emotional charge. It’s like an attempt to replicate the excitement and bright emotions rising every time we arrive at the seashore...
